Getting there: The Flybus connects with arriving flights and runs from the airport to the BSI bus terminal near the city centre, with stops on request at Hafnarfjordur or Gardabæ. The journey to Reykjavik takes around 45 minutes. Taxis are available but they are expensive and cost in the region of ISK 7,500-9,000 (€82-98).
Getting around: The centre of Reykjavik is compact and easily explored on foot. Reykjavik has an extensive public bus network serving the city centre and suburbs; buses run from 7 AM to midnight daily. A single ticket costs ISK 250 (€3.30). Cycling is one of the most popular ways to get around and there are many cycle paths in the city. Prices subject to change.
