Bus services run to and from the airport in connection with arriving and departing flights. The Flybus services the hotel both to and from the airport; guests should notify the flybus driver or can book with the hotel’s reception. The Flybus single fare is 1100 ISK. Taxis are available at the airport and can be booked from the hotel reception; set rate is 8500 ISK for a single journey.
Driving directions: From the airport take the first right at the roundabout and continue in the direction of Hafnarfjordur. Follow signs for Reykjavik along the coast road Saebraut. Follow Saebraut until the left-hand turn onto Snorrabraut, then turn left up Snorrabraut, and turn right where Hverfisgata Street intersects with Snorrabraut. Follow Hverfisgata to the hotel on the left, where Klapparstigur Street intersects with Hverfisgata.
Getting around Reykjavik is easiest on the SVR bus system, which runs from 7 AM to midnight daily. Bicycles can be used to negotiate the city’s extensive network of cycle paths.
